Groundwater monitoring
- Borehole pump testing to determine aquifer parameters, borehole efficiency, borehole sustainable yield and its abstraction schedules. Pump testing allows the selection of a appropriate pump size to be installed in the borehole.
A top drive progressive cavity pump is inserted to the required depth and driven by a diesel engine through a gearbox. This enables the tester to keep the pump output constant as the pumping head increases with the increase in drawdown.
Our pumps are capable of operating up to 200 meter depths, pumping volumes from 0.5 liters per second to a maximum of 60 liters per second.
- Groundwater sampling and water quality assessment.
- Borehole pump installation for mine dewatering and for water supply.
- Rehabilitation of existing boreholes.
