Company History

West Australia Drilling (SPRL) (WAD) was established in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in 2005 by Bryan Carter-Brown to provide groundwater development services to private and public enterprises including mining companies. WAD is based in Kolwezi, Lualaba province.

Drilling, pump testing and equipping of boreholes was the initial main focus, but now WAD is providing a diverse range of professional services including hydrogeological investigation, environmental and agricultural development.

WAD aims to contribute to private companies development and community development by providing professional expertise in water, environmental and agricultural related services.

Social Responsibility

WAD is committed to train young professional, advise government regulators and private companies and organizations and to provide technical skills and capabilities to overcome water and food security challenges within the communities at large.
